I cleaned out the freezer last week and Kirk, my friend Dave, and I smoked up 28 pounds of venison jerky, 7 rainbow trout, 10 whitefish and 6 mallards

Last Saturday was opener for creek spearing here in MN.  We managed to find a few in one of the creeks we usually go to.  They weren't running too good due to the cold weather we've had.
